I like the neon strip idea but they do not look very bright.

I have for some time now been using the same hoops, but using LED light strings (from the same place  :whistling: ) twice the length needed and doubled back to get half spacing, pushed through INSIDE the hoop vis two melted through holes, so totally protected. These are bright enough to show up well enough to have on even in a well lit sports hall or home.

I have cut and rejoined to get differing sizes, and cut half loops as arches to floor stand on wire coat hangar legs or hang from doorways on coat hangar hooks

I use square drainpipe joiners as the base, with a little weighting (old hand dumbell sections) they are fully stable even from a full on hit and house the battery units inside to keep them safe from hits/handling.

Since I operate these with groups of 11-15 year old boy "pilots", they have been well tested!

The brightness did depend on the colour. 2 of them were plenty bright. The others were pretty lame.

I did look at the LED option and they can be plenty bright, but they were slightly more expensive and did need a bit more power.
