SK450 Issues!

Hi guys.

My Sk450 is running quite well but I';m not sure whether what I am experiencing is standard or configuration!

Here is my setup;

SK450 quad.
EMAX MT2213 935Kv motors with 10 x 4.5 props
Hobbywing 4 x esc
Crius V2 AIOP with  433Mhz Autopilot GPS
MultiwII latest version

My PID settings have been optimized this evening using the following technique;

Made sure that vibration issues are sorted!
Set "I" & "D" to zero

Turn "P" up incrementally!
     I got up to 10 and noticed that there was a definite wobble. Managed to reduce that down slowly! I have attached a copy of my current PID settings which feel ok, but just ok!

One thing that I have noticed is that the throttle is very sluggish and seems to just bounce like a big ball when throttle is applied. So, what I was thinking is to change props to a 10 x 38 or 9 x 4.5! This would increase the head speed and the feel of the throttle. I could also reduce down to an 8 x prop and go for 4 cells!

What do you think?

Well, lots of views but no replies!  :(

However, going to Fareham Models Quad & Helicopter evening tonight to meet likewise pilots. Hopefully I will come out with a better understanding of this fabulous dark art!

Well it looks like it paid off going to the raceway at Fareham Models on Thursday cause my quad was just rock solid!

The above video is not the most exciting but it does show how solid it is with me flying it.

I most certainly am!

It was great to fly. Only issue I had was with yaw causing the quad to rise and fall depending on right or left!

I must admit that I was amazed just how stable it was! I had Level locked in and this helped heaps!

Just to let you know that I tweaked my JR PCM9X II to increase the resistance on the throttle ratchet so that when I push or pull rudder (Yaw), I don';t inadvertently change the throttle setting.

I may just play around with some mixes to remove the unwanted altitude hight movements.

Thanks for all your comments.
