motor wires replacement

can the 3 wires that come out the motor be replaced?

im used to changing motor wires on my rc cars as the motors have external tabs to solder to but these quad motors dont have that, the wires feed directly inside the motor housing
motors im using are the emax 2205 2300kv

thanks for the link

by the looks of it the 3 wires are a part of the windings?
i will be shrink wrapping the wires then on my new motors to protect them from damage if replacing them is a PITA

The three brushless motor windings are connected either like a triangle (Delta) with the three feed wires taken from each paired "corner", or wired as a three point "Star", where one wiring end is brought out and fed, and the three other ends are connected internally.

Be careful, heat shrinking the wires CAN cause a vibration or flexure fracture point where the heat shrink ends rather than have a distributed loading point over the more flexible uncovered wire's exposed length.
