*** Break In Please Share *** Some thieving scumbags broke into our shop on saturday night. They managed to cut the cladding off the building and punch a hole through the wall into our SAB kit storage area. from what we can see at the moment they have stolen the following SAB Kits... Please can you you be on the lookout for the following kits, SG512, SG508, SG283, SG284, SG712, SG715, SG716, . The are all clearly identified with these part number s on them on a large stick on the end of the box. This is something that only we apply to the kits and sets them apart from other sab kits. From the CCTV footage which doesnt show their faces it looks like a fairly professional job. These kits may well come up on social media for sale or on ebay. If you are offered one or see one, please get in touch with the shop on 01226 281177 or Contact Barnsley Police.

That's a shame, I hope it isn't too much of a problem for you guys.  I like FastLad. One of my favorite companies.

Actually this break in is very similar to that drone company that got broken into.  There was a posting on here about it recently ish.  I can't find it now.  They had the side of their industrial unit cut into as well.   :hmm:

Perhaps somebody could help find this post and link it.  It might be the same people.

I have got some pictures of the heli kits that were stolen which might help people identify them.

Here goes....
SG512 SAB Goblin 500 Sport Carbon Yellow

SG508 Goblin 500 Sport Yellow Red

Yes that was the one I was thinking of.  Gash have you thought about posting up the theft on the BMFA classifieds under the lost found and stolen section?  Its empty at the moment your notice would be the only one there.

I doubt BMFA member would be capable of this though.

I would set up some saved searches on Gumtree and Ebay for these and also if a load of "Spare Parts" or "breaking for spares" appear!

These aren't going to be easy to sell. Even down the local pub for 50 quid.

BMFA members would be much more likely to cut a hole in SLEC HQ and make off with a transit van full of balsa wood and spitfire kits  :blink

i was just saying there is one on there and i did contact fast lads and said could be genuine seller proceed with caution. Not trying to accuse anyone just reporting what i saw and hope fast lad lads get the baskets who done it or get stuff back.
