My first weekend of flying!

I had a really good weekend, I';ve gone from constantly bouncing the thing off the ground due to poor throttle control to being able to keep it in a rock steady hover in a bit of wind and fly around in front of me to any point and back again. All still tail in but the feeling of accomplishment is huge ::)

I can';t wait for next weekend or evening where I can fly before it gets dark. :frantic: It';s a very rewarding hobby.

That sort of feeling makes it all worth the effort,  nothing quite like it I think;  there';s something magical about making something that flies!

Thanks guys! I was hoping to go out this evening but it';s raining  :( I need a micro quad for indoors

I also have a couple batteries in the post, it';s slow going flying for 10 mins then going back home to recharge for an hour or so.

The Twister is a great model for indoors,  and will do outdoors if it';s not too windy - don';t buy extra standard batteries,  get Turnigy Nanotechs 600 mah from Hobbyking UK for £1.75 each!

That looks pretty good, although I may have a business trip to the US coming up, I was thinking about getting a Heli-max 1SQ Tx-R with an Anylink and using it with my DX6i as that appeals to me. All in it would be ~£60. I was surprised not to be able to find it anywhere in Europe.

I`m using my old little r/c helicopter charger , 800ma / 3 cell , now that does take some time to charge my 2650 battery .
It`s like 10 mins run time , then wait all day for it to recharge !!!!!
