Naza-M unused ESC connections - suitable for power feed?

A thought has occurred to me. I have a F450 with the Naza. This obviously only uses the first four ESC connections. I need a couple of 5V feeds. Can I use these spare connectors in the same way as a spare Rx channel, i.e., leave the signal unconnected and use 5V to feed aux bits? Trying to save on Y cables on the Rx!

We used the unused gimbal outputs to power an Ardupilot APM board, we were testing the GPS loging of the ardupilot (worked great).

Just cut the yellow/orange wire so theres no signal being sent anywhere.

Id be careful about current dont draw too much. Dont use it to power a 600mw transmitter or anything. Stick to low current stuff.

Pete, thanks for the confirmation. its only a low power light I';m wanting to power. I was thinking about the 25mW tx but have been advised the 5v feed is probably not enough (needs 6v+).

I shall try it out tomorrow!

I used a spare Naza plug for the LED board and took a feed from the main board for the tx! Both working fine.
