RunCam Split and Betaflight 3.2

Just thought I would mention a couple of ';issues'; with the Split and BF3.2RC4. If you want to connect the split to your fc via a uart beware that the printed manual and the V9 pdf manual differ in which pad is tx and rx! I believe the pdf is correct but have yet to confirm.
Also in betaflight you set the ports to have the split on the appropriate uart then go into modes to set switches. There are 3 modes listed but they have no labels!!
I believe they are:
CAMERA CONTROL 1: enable/disable wifi (camera wifi)
CAMERA CONTROL 2: start/stop recording (camera power)
CAMERA CONTROL 3: change modes (camera change mode)
It also appears they are supposed to be connected to momentary switches not latching ones. So first switch ON second OFF.

Hopefully I will have another try this afternoon and I will report back!
I try :-)

How did this go?

I was thinking possible using a three way switch to choose between the three but using the momentary switch to actually trigger these...does that make sense?

I didn't get on too well! Long story but I was going away on holiday so removed the Split and just installed a RunCam Micro (with OSD voltage) as my Omnibus F4 AIO OSD didn't work. Since then I have not got round to trying the Split again as I am renovating a house and moving in!!!

Hopefully next year I will get some time to fly again.

Not sure about selection via 3 way switch but I am sure by now there will be some youtube videos on controlling the Split via tx.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
I try :-)

Ah, life always seems to get in the way of FPV...

All my birds with a split have no extra UARTs so I haven't had the opportunity to set one up yet.

The setup would have to be on the transmitter with some scripting and virtual channels. I have the idea in my head and in fact my arm switch is a virtual channel requiring a combination of witch movements.
