Transmitter setup....

Sooooo..... ive made a bit of progress on my TBS Discovery and just waiting on some Extension leads to get it finished off..... then the setup....

i think i have my head round the KK2.0 settings .... dont think it will be a problem ... is there anything i should be doing in particular to set up the TX... im sure i seen somewhere i set the TX up in Acro rather than Heli mode .... is this correct ? (im using a Spektrum DX7 btw)

any setup tips are welcome :)

Yes , it`s controlled like a plane , not a helicopter.

Yea use a acro / plane memory slot  you will also need to setup a switch for the auto level the gear switch will do the job

should be pretty straight forward then.... with some luck i should have it up for its maiden at the weekend

I found that adjusting the upper throttle limit in travel adjust very useful on my first flight yesterday, as beginner it was hard to find the very narrow point at which the quad would neither climb or descend, reducing the throttle travel makes this a bit easier.
Adjust in little steps of 5% or so rather than banging in a big change straight away
