Hi i have acquired a set of 5010 motors and have a s500 frame.

The 14 inch props as recommended with these motors are too big for my current frames.

The easiest solution is to get a new frame, but they are bloody expensive........ (the 680mm plus frames).

Can i use the 10 inch propellers on these motors, they do fit on the prop adapters, but i guess they are much smaller then the recommended ones.

What would happen if i try them out?

Yes of course you can use 10x4.5 props but you would need 6s lipo and that might cost more than a new frame
Volantex Ranger 1600/2000, Ranger 1200 G2, Phoenix S 1600 AR900 Miniskyhunter, ZOHD Dart 635 and a few 680 batwings plus old faithful C1 chaser and a lot of eagletree guardians

Why will i need 6s lipos?
Will the 3s that i have not work?
The motor specifications allows use of 2 to 6s lipos.

Dam, if i have to buy all that then i am stuck as of now.

Those motors wont generate enough lift on 3s with 10x4.5, they are designed to lift a big frame on 4 or 6s power, maybe keep them for a future build and save a bit of cash or sell them, but you might struggle to get a buyer as people seem to be going more onto small 250 size quads these days

i think i will just hold on to them, and use them some time in the future.

Already purchased the 14 inch carbon props and tarot prop adaptors :)

I have a new set of shimok 30a esc for them also, but i guess i made a mistake there , didn';t know a ****** about BLHELI or etc before.

You can run with 2x3S in series using a series Y lead from HK

Or make up your own, it';s not rocket science ::)
