That a Sinclair Spectrum 48k complete with Interface1 and Microdrive last used about 1989 can be put together again AND WORK STRAIGHT AWAY!!!!   ~~ ~~

I learnt i have too many planes and not enough room, i have a sonic 64 edf wing that i cant assemble because no where to store it, best get some crashing done

That the runcam split sd card holder thing is s@@t,it got broke today after maidening it.the runcam split2 is supposed to have a better sd card holder.

what I learnt yesterday is to not let me near a flight controller and software  :laugh: now my naze rev5 has a solid blue light and I cant even boot short it back to life doh  :-/ :slap:

I relearned the smell of Magic smoke - I was messing about with some really old batteries and committed a cardinal sin/stoooopid trick, yes you guessed it cut a connector off in one go......... pffffftttttt

can you be a bit more specific how you managed that?, afaik its pretty hard to permenantly brick a rev5, did you turn off all the ports or something? (or the usb port to be more exact)

iirc the best way round what youve got there is a reflash of firmware with "full chip erase" selected on the firmware tab, it helps to have "flash on connect" selected too, that way you just brideg your boot pins and plug in and it should reflash regardless of whatever youve done (barring physical damage obviously)

Well.I have never EVER done that............... No, really.................... No, I haven't.................. well, maybe just the once, a long time ago..............  My wife never found those kitchen scissors, she gets forgetful you know.............................. it's 'er age, Doc   ::)

Well  i can join you  in that,, never happened... :embarrassed and anyway most scissors have small notches in the blades ,i think they are for cutting flower stems.. ::)

topman yeah got it to reflash in the end with the bootpins etc was changing from betaflight sw to cleanflight on there,then managed to rip the 5v wire from my vtx  :cry resoldered it today and got picture back on camera so my soldering skils are slowly getting better  ~~

Baker's No.3 Is great for soldering up me FPV antennas, got a nice clean smooth joint. Much better than the other fluxes I have used before. An no gunky residue ~~

My cheapy FlySky i6 uses 4xAA so I just carry a spare set  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Looks like we all use eneloops, well I use 7DayShops own version.
Must admit they do last ages, I try and do 30mins each day on sim and then a couple hrs each weekend trying to fly and they last a couple of weeks. I do always carry a spare set though  ::)
