Shout box not ideal for discussions!  BMFA affiliated clubs do not HAVE to force achievement tests no more than they HAVE to allow any specific type of model. There are plane only, there are Heli only, etc.

QuoteFollows two modern-day, elite Red Arrows pilots as they learn about and take on the challenges that faced the aviators of WWI

Looks like it might be worth if you are interested in stuff like this.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

Actually I used to be and will watch that it looks very interesting, below are a few pictures of a couple of old WW1 planes I built from Flair kits,

The Magnatilla

The Legionare is our scout series version of the famous Nieuport 17. Not a biplane, not a monoplane but a sesquiplane the bottom wing being half the area of the top wing.

And hese's a bit of old shaky video  ;)

Nice planes I would have called the second one a bi plane had it not said it is a sesquiplane, Ive never heard that before

My wife bought me the kit one xmas and I had never seen anything like it before either, I got a bit bored with old slow planes and sold them both in the end, the magnatilla ended up some wheere down south, the legionaire was sold to a fellow club member and he piles it in  :(
Both planes had ASP 52 4 stroke engines and sounded really good  ~~
