Tony B's New Wooden Quad

Just posting pictures of my newly scratch built quad.

It follows the QAV500 methodology in that the motors, wooden booms, escs and heavy 16awg wiring is on a separate "lite ply" tray to the flight electronics.
The "dirty tray" is separated from the electronics "lite ply" tray by rubber grommets, which will hopefully isolate vibration.
I';ve also used orange ear plugs to isolate vibrations on the top and bottom of the controller card.

Setup: Crius AIO Pro V2 board, 4 x RCTimer Simonk 40A Escs, 4 x AX2810 900kv motors, hope built wiring harness, Turnigy 3A 5v UBEC, FrSky 8 Channel Rx (non telemtry (to start with)), Crius CN-06 GPS, 3DR Telemetry Radio 433Mhz.

Software loaded: Multiwii 2.2 (Gaza';s predefined setup for 3dr & Crius GPS)

I am hoping, fingers, toes and ankles and brain crossed ... :) that it flies...Watch this space:-----

I must admit it has been very challenging so far and I cannot wait to get it airborne, but you have been very patient with m - PUBLIC THANKS....
