I am having difficulty in setting up FC1212-s Flight Controller for Quad Copters.
and AHRS-S Flight Stabiliser for Quad Copter.
which i bought from the internet have tried following the instructions from the CD and from your site, in the instructions there is no reference to beeping Cumming from the equipment i have just bought some parts from your site to use in the setting up of my Quadcopter i am using a Spektrum DX8 with an AR600x i did by the motors and the escapes with body from another person but it had the kk board in it and i had seen your equipment for sale so any help would be welcome as i am new to this and am also a pensioner trying a new hobby.
hoping in anticipation of a working reply .
Welcome to e-mail me and chat do not think i could help but willing (LOL)

Hi Bob we dont run a shop where have you bought from ? have you done the calibration of the esc,s they will beep if there not set up, is the beeping coming from the flight controller or the motors ?
from what I can see if the flight controller has an error some of the led's will flash the user manual will explain which

Hi Bob I have posted the latest manual for the XAircraft FC1212-P is this the same manual for your version of the flight controller it is the only one I can find

Hi Bob I think what Gaza07 is asking is did you calibrate the esc,s individually to your radio,
you should set your throttle to full turn on and wait for the beep that the esc has recognised the full throttle setting then drop the throttle to minimum and it should beep again, you need to do this for each esc separately and then reconnect them to the flight controller and retest, if this doesn't work maybe you could take a few pics and let us see your setup maybe there is something we might see that you could have missed, I don't have an Xaircraft but most flight controller have to have the esc,s all calibrated the same or have a built in calibration routine for them

BobWales

thanks  Madmax yes i think it becase i haven set up the esc properly will try again see if i can do it as i am new to all this  its a frame like the Xaircraft but its one i am building.

Madmax beat me to it, you must have your esc's calibrated or they will not initialise,
is the manual in this post http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php/topic,210.0.html the same manual as your using, I jusy wanted to know so I can have a quick look through it and see if there is anything you might need to do

Hi Bob did you get an instruction sheet with your esc's, it should describe in there how to calibrate them to your transmitter,
Connect 1 esc to your receiver  directly not through the flight controller,
turn on your transmitter and set the throttle to full, then power the receiver up with the esc connected you should hear a beep once it has recognised the high throttle reading, then pull the throttle to minimum and it should beep again to say it has seen the low throttle setting then disconnect the power it should remember the calibration, do this for all your esc's separately and then reconnect them to your flight controller and see if the beeping problem is cured  ~~

what transmitter and receiver are you using is it all new, are you new to the whole rc flying hobby or just new to the multi rotor side of things, Its hard to advise you because I don't know how much knowledge you already have,
If you could fill us in on what you already know it will be very helpful to us to be able to know where to start,
is your transmitter and receiver new if its 2.4g did you bind them together ?
