At My Dads With A Steam Engine

I spent the day with my Dad today at his bungalow where we built him a garden railway,
So I spent most of the day playing with the steam engine below, I know its not multi rotor but you jut got to love steam engines  or may be it's just us olduns that have a passion for them 
I might even treat you to a video if your lucky and feel free to download the picture and set it as your wall paper

Thanks for the comment, it actually is live steam and runs on water and gas, the gas is used to replace the traditional coal fire which would probably be hard to maintain in such a small model, although there are coal fired versions about,
It runs for around 20 to 30 Min's on one fill up, and is radio controlled for forward and reverse gear and the regulator (accelerator) so you actually drive it

I did make a video but to be honest railway video's aren't to interesting but I will post a link when I get round to uploading it

I watched that series on tv ages ago called Garden Railway, where a bloke built a set in his garden over several episodes and visited other folks garden railways.  Does that make me an anorak? DOH lol anyone else see this series? was a good couple of years ago now

I saw a couple of those episodes but not all, I hope they repeat them  watching that series on the tv doent make you an anorak, but answering in this thread does

bet that took a while to build.  Looks neat and tidy.  Sorry couldn't bring myself to watch the whole 14 - 15 mins though.

Its about 4 years old now and could do with a bit of work it has warped a bit in places but not to bad
