Just had a snoop around on googleplay app store as new heli / quad sims pop up from time to time.  I downloaded IndoorHeliSim free on my Android tablet.  Selected the quad to fly...Lol it';s not that realistic with regards to flight characteristics but a bit of fun....

Just in case you missed it elsewhere, ccrcsim allows you to plug your TX into the mic of your PC and directly control a quad or various other model aircraft. Sims fly from Davis Field or Cape Cod.
Or you can build your own models and scenery.
The sim is nice for my latest project because it also handles i/o to some nav hardware.
You can, of course, just hack in your own code if you want to look at what some
algorithm does to the flight characteristics of some model.

Wish one of the RC Simulators for OSX would get with the program and give us a multi-rotor model. Bonus points for making the flight controller run the real code :)
