That should improve things with the camera being below the props, where did you get the gimble form  ~~

It comes together with this kit http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__16583__HobbyKing_Quadcopter_Frame_V1.html
But never used this frame. Later today i upload one video

sakiskoz

Video test new Gimbal
+ bonus sky colours  from this amazing camera  :whistling:

RABBIT FC Flight Control - Gimbal Test

Gaza07

That proves the props cause a problem in the video much better shame about the colours, what is that cylinder on your roof at 4:17, all you need now is a gopro 2

Yes i want go pro but this time i can't get it.
The cylinder is 200Lit boiler for hot water and is works with 3 ways - Power, Central heating radiators and Sun with that panel you see

Gaza07

All that from just 1 solar panel you must get a lot of sun houses here with solar power have then all over one side of the roof  ::)
The Go Pro is a very good camera its what I strap to my head when I'm making my videos  I just don't let any one see me
although my neighbour did once and he just gave me a funny look, I actually have the proper go pro head strap and don't use gaffer tape

Sorry maybe i don't write correct.
This boiler make hot water from sun or power or central heating. It is possible if you want to give hot water to central heating.
Go Pro is the best for us maybe Christmas i make present to my sοn  ;)

Gaza07

Yes I'm sure your son would love a go pro for christmas and I bet he would love to see it flying around to  ::)

MadMax

Thats a big difference Sakiskoz well done and buying your son a gopro 2 for xmas will show how much you care    ;)

sakiskoz

Yes Go Pro is new target

I test yesterday Position Hold and Go Home with Auto Landing. Every Attempt is first PH. the first is more time.
Process are correct, 3-10 meters away from target. That i don't like is that not landing vertically in target but stay 0,5-1  meter and then looking and directed to target for landing.
You can see video but camera is on board ( I write ok on board?)

RABBIT FC test Auto Landing with GPS

Gaza07

It seems to be working quite well the last bit just before landing happens to other controllers to, maybe the dev team will sort it out lets hope so
yes on board is the correct way to say your camera is fitted to your copter  ~~

sakiskoz

Gary I hope to dev team improve the code.
I test my camera with my old glider eolos since 1985. I flight 2 times, in this video is night fly and comes the evening fly.
No problem at all with colours.
Sorry for airplane video in copter forum just for camera.
Thanks

It looks like the camera is getting some interfearance from your multi rotor as the plane videos show  non of the bad colours, maybe wrapping it in tin foil might help to sheild it  ~~
No worries about posting your plane videos we welcome any input from members  ~~

sakiskoz

I will try to cover and make more stable in gimbal

Gaza07

When I started with radio control flying it was with planes if you look through my you tube channel there is a couple of videos, one of them is flying from water  ~~
I also have an old web site that has quite a few pictures I will let you have the link later  ;)

MadMax

As Gaza07 says its got to be your multi rotor causing problems, not sure how you could cure it though, maybe the foil will do the trick

sakiskoz

Unfortunately I am not so lacy, I use it yesterday on my hat and have same results with colors :-/ :-/

Gaza07

Oh not so lucky then maybe the camera has a fault  :(

You could try a different memory card in the camera just in case it is the memory card that is faulty.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

Gaza07

Thats a very point the card has to be fast enough to cope with the speed it wants to write the video to it,
maybe the bad colours are caused by this  :-/

When you get purple colours or similar being dragged across the screen then this can be a result of video compression going wrong. Compressed video works partly because certain areas of the screen are recorded simply as being 'the same as the previous frame' if there are no changes from the previous frame rather than recording data for every single pixel every single frame.

If the 'previous frame' was somehow recorded wrong, or became corrupt, then that error will be repeated in subsequent frames until something new comes along, hence you get little puddles of weird colours that drag about the place until the video swaps to a new scene.

So if the memory card wasn't fast enough and was dropping frames this could cause what you are seeing.

I'm only guessing really though - i could be totally wrong

Hi
I think i found problem of camera and i thing i fix it i see in fist test

The problem was how it sat at the base of it  - you see is removable

sakiskoz

Gaza07

Nice videos I used to have some of those foam flyers (shockies) they are very nice to fly and are very good to practise new moves for the bigger planes, your gimble seems to be working quite well you can clearly see it working when you see the end of the skids moving about,
Did you do some thing to the camera in between videos as the plane video has the bad colours but the copter video has non of the bad colour affects  ~~
YouTube   printing-3d  Thingiverse  3d-printworx

sakiskoz

Yes foams planes is perfect for small areas and with 3D planes and EPP foam is perfect for practice .

Now about camera, the problem is with How to sits on the housing board. If it moves a little its begin the problem. I think i fix it but not perfect.

Vibrations of camera comes from push air of props. In last video i had move slightly back the camera and is better.

Good morning Gary
I use only Auto Stab at this flight. Care free never try it with this frame. Neighbours just give her fresh and cool air.
Yes camera works ok because this time light is soft.
I like this setup is good and stable, If i have bigger props that's be fine.
