Just fixed a busted SMA connector on my TBS unity pigtail, it suffered badly in a recent crash and split in two, nothing a touch of the soldering iron couldn't fix  :D

Just had to clean a load of dust from my fatshark LCDs, why can't they be properly sealed to stop the ingress of dust and pollen. :/

Have ordered my FPV tx and rx.  Hoping that they will be here in the next few weeks.  Just need to get the OSD unit and some googles now  ~~
SkyNet shall rise!!!!!!

You gone for 2.4g or 5.8g I had a pair of 5.8g fat sharks but ended up sellng them with out using them  :o
It felt little strange wearing them and if I got up and moved around it made me feel a bit sick a weird feeling  :-\

I've got myself pretty much the cheapest possible FPV setup;

coupled with a tiny screen stuck to my transmitter;

Although i did manage to get quite a nice camera.

I've not used it much yet though as the weather has been so bad and i want to get my quadcopter flying stable in auto-level mode first to make things easier for me. I found my first attempt at FPV quite hard to control but then i do have my quadcopter set for acrobatics.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.

You got any details on the camera, most of the bullet cams Ive seen are expensive

I was told the video camera was a sony camera, this model;

but looking on the camera it just says 'VTC-258P' from which google brings up;

the video quality does seem quite good though so I'm happy whoever made it.

The picture quality does look good from the video you uploaded the other day  ~~

I've gone for 5.8.  Going to use the RC Logger gear and see how that goes.  For now will just be using an LCD screen for flying until I can afford to get the Fat Shark googles.

FPV system has been sent out, all been well should be here today  ~~  Just ordered a wide angle lens and tx mount for it.  May give the fish eye lens a try at some point too
SkyNet shall rise!!!!!!

Woohooo its here

Now to get it charged up and setup
SkyNet shall rise!!!!!!

Nice looking gear there Rappy Freak, its always a buzz to get new toys through the post  ;D
where did you get it from and how much, I might look into getting some fpv gear my self  ~~

Rappy Freak

Very nice to get nice stuff in the post.

I ordered it direct from RC Logger.  It worked out at about £170 to the door.  Took less than a week to get here, not too bad from Hong Kong.  From what I understand it can work with other cameras but I am going to use it with the RC Logger Pro and GPS system.  In the long run I will be getting their OSD system when it is out later this year.  Have ordered a wide angle lens from Midland Helis, hoping it will be here today.  Midland is ment to be getting some of the FPV systems in in the next few weeks, so I am told  ~~

If I manage to get some video later I will post it up.

Few more bits have come in the post today

SkyNet shall rise!!!!!!

Very nice look forward to seeing it all set up  ~~

I notice you have both gone for small screens can you see these ok when outside, I ask because I noticed when I used my lap top out side its very hard to see any thing, same with my phone screen in bright light

I've only used mine on an overcast day so far but it was perfectly visible outdoors.

I bought it because it was cheap though - not because i thought a small screen would be better in any way.

I got one like this;

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.
