Shout box not ideal for discussions!  BMFA affiliated clubs do not HAVE to force achievement tests no more than they HAVE to allow any specific type of model. There are plane only, there are Heli only, etc.

Here are the pictures of where I have the camera mounted.  Here I have strapped the camera down to see if that helps with the vibe, but is untested.

You should try some of the anti vibe blue gell that teslahed posted about in his Vibration damping techniques thread it will probably make your vibes much less if not cure them  ~~

you can see the post here http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php/topic,92.msg753.html#msg753

I used a layer of the blue stuff as well as a layer of the standard double sided foam sticky tape when i recorded this video with a fixed HD mini 'spycam' 808 #18. I think it helps but i haven't done a proper test with and without;

The camera is just fixed to the quadcopter by velcro. I haven't got anything like a proper gimbal working yet.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.
