kk2 bit wobbly help needed

Had a night baby sitting so decided to hobble together a little quad with left over bits.

I took it out this morning and its a bit wobbly recovering after you give it a big stick input . Have played around with P and I levels but its still there. Always managed to get it smoother on multiwii/naze boards so this is a bit of a mystery, especially as there aint much to adjust ( P+I basically)

Is this normal for a kk2 board and do I have to live with it or am I missing something

Quad is 230 size , dys1806 motors , 20a simon k esc';s , balanced 5x4.5 blunt props and KK2 with 1.6++ software

p gets a bit hairy around 85 so have set it at 70
I is best around 30

limits are standard

It will not get any better until you get better firmware on it RC911';S  or Steveis are the best to go for but make sure you get the correct version for the KK2 - the KK2.1X firmware would probably brick it!
This will help:

Its already got the 1.6++ software on it . Its the rev 3 version but I dont think the newer ones are much different flight wise.

3 cell , but its nippy on it as only 260g

Have tried latest firmware and still a bit wobbly with sharp stick inputs , does fly ok tho and would not be noticable on a 450 I guess, its just not what I would expect.

Oops my bad, thought it was the old hk standard one!!!
I';ve only used kk';s on either tricopters or bigger (400+) quads so it';s probably to do with size and reaction time of the kk, but if it';s flyable and you are aware of it should be ok until you put a better fc on it.

I';ve had to turn the p and I settings right down on the kk2
When a flue in self level to the point were you loose
Proper control then slowly turn them back up again .
