Advice needed on TarotT4-3D

Hi I am new to the sport and I bought a pair of shop returned gimbals (as per title). The two show exactly the same issue, when a bare 12V is applied to the input both initialise and do act as a gimbals but give off a squeal and the head were the camera fits is vibrating in sync with the noise, I am unsure whether they are faulty or need to be wired in to a copter with all leads connected. Any advice welcome.

I am presuming you have the camera on the gimbal as the weight is needed to ';balance'; the gimbal.  I have turned on a gimbal before without a camera and it can overdrive the system.

No I haven';t had a camera on it but will do so and report back.

When camera added all vibrating stops and gimbal operates, thanks for the help, 2 gimbals for £34 was a result!!
