Binned my quad today. Im not sure what happened,  I think a prop came loose, fell out of the sky and broke one of the arms.

The frame was only £5 from hobbyking so hardly seems worth trying to repair it and I dont want to wait 3 weeks for a replacement. So I was thinking of getting this as a replacement http://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/multi-rotor/fpv550-quadcopter-frame-spacewalk-550.html  I want to get into fpv at some point so thinking this would be a good step? Should be still good to fly line of sight though?

Balders

buy some 10mm pine strip from B&Q, a small sheet of 3mm ply and knock up your own frame.

Really satisfying to fly something you';ve built yourself :)

Funnily enough I';ve seen a design on YouTube from flitetest for a h-quad that looks intriguing...
