Teaching granny to suck eggs:

Is that in manual, atti and gps modes?

Are the ESCs from DJI or elsewhere - if elsewhere have they all been calibrated correctly?

All cabling secure?

Are the props in good shape and secure on the shafts?

Have you tried switching it off and on again?  ;)

Just a few of the basics to check but no doubt the more experienced people in here will pitch in with help

How bad is the veering? When I first tried mine indoors I thought that something was wrong, couldn';t get it to take off, just veered to the right (I think). I was advised that it was likely to be because I was being too gentle with the throttle. Took it to the nearest field, fired her up and with more enthusiastic application of throttle she rose straight up!! Above 6ft is said to be most stable, out of the influence of the prop wash!

If you are happy that all the props are turning the correct way (carefully feel for airflow) then give it a squirt!

If the veering happens after take-off, have you calibrated the sticks in the Naza Assistant? Does she respond to the stick?

Do you have a video of it happening, always a help in diagnosing?

Thanks for that I have only attempted to fly it indoors so far. Hopefully the weather will improve soon.

Sounds very much like my first attempts indoors then. Seems some will and some won';t hover indoors. As long as you are confident about prop rotation (if one was wrong it would flip, not just veer!) and have done the various calibration exercises in the manual you just need to get the confidence to go for it!

Good luck for the next stage! ~~
