So as most of you may have read I';m in process of rebuilding my quad. I was wondering if you guys have any tips on mounting the crius controller. I';ve ordered some sponge tape. Is this the best for the job or is there another way.

Also I read about protecting the barometer with sponge somewhere. Is this recommended.

Do you wrap your controllers with heat shrink or just leave them bare?

Is there a preferred location for the GPS receiver??

I hot glued a piece of foam over the baro and it works a treat. Don';t actually glue it on the baro as completely sealing the holes would render it useless, just a small blob either side will do to keep it in place. The foam I have used there is a piece cut out of a sanding block.

I also use foam tape to attach the board(s) to my frames and have never had an issue.

I heat shrinked the GPS as it looked a little exposed with the button cell battery and and what not, it also meant I could use hot glue again to position it on the frame without issue.

Thanks guys. I';ll go for the foam then. Have ordered a few different sizes of clear heat shrink to re wrap my escs, GPS, 3dr etc. Will leave the crius uncovered I think.
