New Quadcopter problems...

I have been trying to get my qc to settle down in the acro mode so I can go to the level mode but I cannot get the small twitches out of it and it has a continual left yaw that I have to correct.
I have played with pid settings to no avail.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have the Crius All in One Pro V1 running the Multiwii 2.1 firmware.

Hi, You should begin with the default PIDs. These are usually okay for first flight. If you';re in acro mode you will need to use the trim switches of your tx to get rid of the left yaw. Once it';s generally okay in acro mode, you can switch to level with more confidence. Don';t expect it to just hover perfectly in acro mode - it will be very sensitive and responsive and you might want to consider putting about 70% rates and 40% expo on your roll and pitch channels. Good luck.

Thanks.  I wonder why can';t you tune the yaw with the pid setting?
I have already got it flying better except for the yaw.

bunnygirl80

If it';s drifting on one axis, i.e. the yaw as you mention, then you need to do this on the transmitter trims. PID is more about tuning corrections to levels and stick responses.

Thanks, bunnygirl.  I think i';m getting close to going on to level mode.

Oh! Super. Don';t forget to take your camera and film it.  ~~
