Feeling brave so I'm trying Mega Pirate again, I need help with settings please

I';ve built my first quad using a DJI 450 kit and a TBS Discovery frame. At first I used the Naza and was getting on with it quite well apart from parking it in tress a couple of times . Then my head was turned by the Crius All In One Pro and the features of Megapirate and Mission Planner which is perfect for what I want to do. I now have a AIO Pro V1, an extend board with GPS and I';ve just added the AIO V2 board. I need it flying stable and reliably for this Sunday so as I';ve got a few days I thought I';d have one more bash with Megapirate before conceding defeat and putting the Naza back in.

I';ve tried flashing it with MultiWii which is much more stable and with a few tweaks I could probably get that working well but I really want to get Megapirate working properly.

My setup is:
AIO Pro V2, extend board and GPS powered via a 5v UBEC, flashed with Megapirate 2.8r3
DJI 450 arms and TBS Discovery boards
DJI 30A ESC';s, DJI 2212/920kv motors, DJI 1038 props
Spektrum AR600RX and DX6iTX (I worked out how to set the DX6i to get all 6 modes)
I';m using 3s batteries and Windows 7 Pro 64 bit for programming (if that makes any difference)

So, can some kind person who knows about this set up please guide me through the tweaks to get it flying please? I';ll run through the install following the guide again but I need help with PIDs etc.

I have found that 2.9.1 beta  is alot more stable flight  and more of an enjoyment to fly with
