kk2 contrast adjustment

I have a problem with my kk2, I adjusted the contrast on the display and the screen went blank     It lights up still and beeps when armed but no menu.
Any ideas ?

I don';t know if the menu sequence has changed, what version software is on it.

Looks like a common problem, read this http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1988169

there may be other solutions but gently move the ribbon cable to see if that';s the problem.

This is direct from his manual, so if its not software its probably hardware ( cable or Display )

Appendix L – Resetting the LCD contrast
If you have messed up the LCD contrast, follow these steps:
 Power cycle the KK2.1.X
 Press button 4 (Menu)
 Press button 3 (Down) eight times
 Press button 4 (Enter)
 Press button 3 (Next)
 Press button 4 (Change)
 Press button 1 (Clear)
 Press button 3 (Up) 25 times
 Press button 4 (Done)
 Contrast should now be reset so you can read the screen
 Adjust to your liking

Well, I';ve sorted it, don';t know how. Tried the procedure above but no luck so I just kept pressing buttons.  All of a sudden it just came on, happy days.
