Sorry first post. Bought a hubsan x4. Just had maiden flight in the living room. Lights now flashing so needs charging.

Question is when i connect the battery to usb charger , the red light eliminates red before i put it into usb socket on the computer ????  :banghead:

The reason why the red light on the charger comes on when you plug in the battery is because there is still a small amount of power to illuminate it which indicates that the battery is low and needs charging. Plug the charger into a usb socket and it will charge. When the light goes off, it has charged!

Hope this helps. Alex

It takes 20-30 mins depending on how discharged they are.
Small doesn';t mean easy to fly, if you can master this one then a bigger one will be easier; they are very good to learn with because the amply prepare you for something bigger. Next step up? a Twister is a good progression or if you';re brave a 450 size.
Good luck

NutleyBoy

No just discovered not :-) easy but less risk.

It';s drifting and not sure how to correct as instructions are not all that.

Quoteif you';re brave a 450 size.

Darrell = I took the plunge!

NutleyBoy = Recalibrate the Hubsan.

To do this:

1)Turn on TX,
2)Then turn on Hubsan
3)Click/Push in the right stick to go to expert mode
4)Now hold the left stick in the down and right position and hold there
5) While holding the left stick in down and right position you now need to rock the right stick left and right, so left then right then left then right and so on. Do this until the blue lights on your hubsan blink, when they blink the Hubsan is calibrated
6)Click down right stick to turn off expert mode

Now your ready to go and your Hubsan is calibrated

You can adjust the trim by clicking on the trim buttons on the tx to give some finer adjustment!

Please go to my blog as I have documented my Hubsan Progress here!

Here is a 450 frame vs a Hubsan. Laughable isn';t it!

Cheers, Alex

Hi Nutley Boy

Have just joined the site.
I have a Hubson also plus DJI Flamewheel 450 which is excellent.

I will be in Lewes tomorrow possibly from 6pm till 7.30pm if you want to meet up or fly?
