Out in the street tonight as soon as I got home from work, little bit windy but hey, I';m getting so much better.
Mistake! There was me having a go at stall turns doing great then a gust of wind left me with next to no control over where it was going, so a tree decided to jump out in front of it  :banghead:
All things considered nothing that couldn';t be easily fixed - new aerosol lid and cracked props fixed with cyano & kicker and led soldered back on - works a treat and as good as new (almost)

Hi Darrell. Its a great thing that you put a tuff lid on this thing, as I don';t think the paper thin plastic canopy would of protected the electronics and could of wiped out an essential part of the quad. Good thinking there, not just an ergonomic mod but a safety mod too! I like it!

That deff looks like it prevented some serious damage  ~~

I know what you mean, and wouldn';t normally do it but these props are quite soft and pliable and the cracks were in the very end of them so it';s not really a problem.
If you look at the pics closely you can see the type of crack I';m talking about - I';ve done this before many times with the props on my Crack Yak 3D foamy without any problem and that';s turning much faster than on the Twister - I do balance the prop after I';ve fixed it also.

Nearly lost it last night, bit of a lul in the winds we';ve been having so the craving got the better of me, all going reasonably ok until near the time I thought I';d land and put a new battery in.
Gust of wind and I lost it a bit, went over the rooftops out of view so I powered up to try and see where it was....nothing....battery run down. Tried to see where it was and had a rough idea between 4 neighbours gardens; left the led';s running to make it easier to see and started knocking doors (10 O';clock at night!); anyway I found it at the third attempt basically undamaged, breathed a sigh of relief and packed up for the night. Tried an indoor hover this morning and all is well - I have to say this is one hell of a good model, it withstands a lot of abuse and flies really well.
