Hi All,

Here is a video of the death of my Quadcopter. This was the first attemp to coordinate 3 different cameras to make one shot using 2 multicopters and a head cam.....well it did not go so well for me :(

Damage was all four props broken, motor shaft sheered off, bent motor mount, destroyed FPV camera pod, bent Skew Planar antenna, broken under carrige/camera mount, torn lipo velcro strap and a brused ego. so a full rebuild will be done and lessons learned  ;D

Nice result in video if not for quad! It';s amazing how much time it can take to try and edit two cameras footage let alone three.

Good luck with the rebuild!

Thought, carbon fibre blades with steel tips, do a bit of aerial pruning!

That would of been sweet, it wouldn';t of missed a beat then, just sliced the branch off  :whistling:

Ouch, good filming though.

Will you be resurrecting it pretty much the same as it was or will you be making some changes/improvements?

Hope you';re back in the air soon!

Nice work, shame about the quad - but you';re definitely getting there with the video stuff. What are you using for post-production?

JAB1a

Thanks Col_M,
It will be mostly the same apart from the FPV pod as that was destroyed completly as it landed on its head. It will be more refined and neater this time as it will be the third full rebuild this Quad frame has had (X525).

@RickP Thank you, I am using Sony Vegas Pro 11 to make my vids, I would be using Vegas Pro12 but my pc is 32bit

Nice video, shame about the destruction. And well done for posting all the painful details - hope you get back in the air ASAP.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

Good video. Sorry it was so expensive for you to produce  :(

Hope you get back in the air soon!
