Hi Guys,
I am really chuffed - I just finished my quad build with crius v1 fc and cn06 gps. I flashed it quite a while ago and like an idiot, forgot to note which version it was. I have set it all up with mission planner and get a 3D gps lock inside my lounge :)
I now want to update to  mpng 2.8. I know how to do it, what i cannot figure out is how to download my existing setup and save it and how to update without destroying my settings.

Can anyone shed some light on my dim mind please ?
Thanks on advance :)

Hi Geeriff if you click the terminal button and drop into the CLI it will display the current firmware version, there is a button in one of the planner configuration screens to export your current parameters, its not a good idea to import these to a new firmware though as things may have changed and they may not work how you think, although you could try it and if it doesn';t work well do a board reset to get the current firmware';s default settings back  ~~

Have you checked Jumpy07';s manual it should explain how to load a new firmware to the board  ~~

Hi Gaza,

Have a look here geeriff  http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=595.0 there is also a version 2 of the manual for v2 boards but also worth reading even if you have a v1 or v1.1 as it has more diagrams and the connections are the same for each board, its just the layout that differs  ~~

If you do need any help please dont hesitate to ask if we can help we will  ~~
