What do all the flight stabilization modes mean

Hi all

Excuse the Noobie question but I need some help

I am trying to get my head around the settings for flight stabilization in CleanFlight/LeibrePilot but for some reason what is shown on the appropriate page is just incomprehensible to me.

Anyone got any links to an idiots guide to setting these up and an explanation what the terms mean and when they should be changed.

Perhaps I am just too stupid to use this software, that I suspect myself but this is the first flight controller software that has me stumped.  I am more used to setting up a KK2 board.

Help please

PS trying to set it up for use on an aeroplane rather than a quad.

I have checked the instruction but there is nothing there explaining what all the settings do

Ok so the first section is your rates, the higher they are, the quicker you quad will respond on the relevant axis

The second section is acro plus is makes manoeuvres faster at the extremes of your stick if you have it enabled

The last two are PIDs for the two different modes

Try reading/watching this?

http://flitetest.com/articles/cc3d-librepilot-for-stabilization-and-leveling

You shouldn';t need to tweak too much with PID and rates etc to get it to fly but they may need refining to get it to work well.

Thanks for the links

Slowly getting the hang of it

Hi all

Still trying to get my head around this

With most flight controllers used in Aeroplanes they generally just use three modes, Off, enough to help in windy conditions and then full flight assist with auto levelling

So with a CC3D used on a Plane what modes relate to those three.

Obviously manual is = off what about the other two, I am assuming the following is that correct

mode 1 Manual
mode 2 Rattitude
made 3 Attitude

On Attitude mode there is supposed to be a setting that stops the plane banking over more than a set angle, ie 45 deg, what do they call that setting because i can';t find it.

Thanks again for the help
