can you run cc3d alone w/dsmx sat and with out a rx?

Im setting up cc3d in librepilot on my Robocat 270. using DX8 TX. simonk 12A esc';s have a Ar8000 Spektrum RX to use if needed.. Gonna try FPV Racing for the first time..
I';m also not abler to get the TX. to match the controls on the rc control (I think it was called-sets up swith';s and seems to assign movement but controls dont ever match, keep going back and changing things. I have the model in the tx set up as acro.. Is that correct, then use the acro controller option.. I';m lost for now any comments appreciated..

Hiya pressume your setting up your dx8 in acro mode!

That mode is for standard helicopters with stuff like cyclic wash etc.

You just need to setup the TX and rx like a standard plane mode

Ok found I could run cc3d with only a dsmx sat. rx. Yet couldn';t get the rc input wizard to work so i started all over from scratch and used my Spektrum AR8000 Rx. And Bam!! everything came together and I flew it today.. cant get the flight modes set yet but thats the next adventure..
   I';m amazed at how stable a $16.00 FC could be. And so many things to learn all over again with a new system

on my cc3d I have attitude on mode 1
                           rattitude on mode 2
rattitude with cruise control on mode 3

cruise control is very nice for fast forward flight
