Hi all, I';m a noob to this FPVing, and was just wondering if some of you can guide me in the wright direction on where to put my Video TX, NAZA GPS and RX. here on the pictures you can see where I have temporally placed them out. Is this OK?....

hi there Rob
are you using any feet for your quad
I read that the best for the TX aerial is to be hanging down that way when its up in the air it gives better connection with RX as its not trying to go through the electronics and carbon fiber at certain angles   I did get the big feet for my quad but have found they are not rigid enough so on take off it tends to wobble till it lifts off same on landing
so will fit the 600 heli skids off my UH1 heli build i have spare and see how they go

I have seen the FPV TX mounted at the end of the frame under where your receiver is on yours so the aerial pokes out the back this also eliminates alot of interference from electronics and frame  if your not using feet

You vTx is too close to your gps and can cause interference with the signal. Spread the components as much as possible on the frame.

On another note, how are you going to fit those cylindrical arms to the TBS discovery frame? It is made to use the stock DJI type arms which also help to give it support.

Carbon Fibre everywhere lol. Very funky.

AIRCONROB

Thanks very much for the input guys, good to know I';m not alone with my build. I was hoping to keep everything off the booms, but might end up putting the VTX near the rear arm.

Cheers

So can the clover leaf VTX be fitted upside down as I';ve seen most on here upright?....
