Hubsan X4L Batteries?

I was wondering which after market batteries you bought for your Hubsan X4L.

I have 2x 380mAh original batteries and a pile of the blue ones, up to 500mAh.  The originals are still giving me 6 minutes or so, but all the blue ones have puffed up and die within 2-3 minutes of flying.

I haven';t flown it in months, but now my son has picked it up and I';d like to get a few more.  Ideally the new batteries are more reliable than the blue ones.  I';d rather not buy from HobbyKing, but if they are the only ones who stock decent batteries I would.

I have six Hubsan X4';s used for my school club, one with the camera.

I buy Overlander 380mAh 25c from UK direct. Get excellent results.

Those blue cells are pretty dire!!

I put a small folded over tab of reinforced tape on, opened to stick to both sides, which eases extraction and stops the kids pulling on the wires.

Cheers for the link.  I hear good things about Overlander, may just buy a few from them.

How do you charge yours?  I have one of these 5-wire looms, but haven';t used it yet.

When I first got multi leads (and the first was for the 130/180';s for MCX';s, Twister Sports, etc), I carefully tested with a quality multimeter that they ALL came up to even charge, and they did.

One thing though, I have found that (whatever the make of cell)  the charge voltage on a couple of my chargers falls if left connected in chain at end of charge for any time, so without being anal I do take them off asap after they end charge.
