Hi all!

New to the forum and new to quads (and anything RC in general), I bought myself a Hubsan X4 mid last week and played around with it indoors.

Until today, when I took it down the local park to see what it flies like outside and in expert mode:

I';ve a couple of batteries, but this was filmed during the second run. Damn these things are fun, but please forgive my appallingly poor flying!!

Oh, and yes, I';m being a little rough with it; I';m using this as sort of a gauge to learn the limitations of the unit as well as my own abilities; knowing what I can and can';t do both from my own skills and the equipment means, hopefully, in time I';ll be able to handle it better and prep me for moving up to the larger platforms I';m hoping to build. Bit like falling off a bike :)

Not bad going there brian. Better than my first attemped.
Still hovering about 6 to 8 inches trying not to overcorrect  :frantic:

You';re not doing yourself any favours flying that low, too much influence of propwash - much better at 2-3'; (old money). Try it and you';ll see what I mean - very unlikely to get any serious damage at that height.
