New Frame design

Hi Guys

I';ve designed a new frame for the hubsan x4 internals + spectrum micro fpv camera

this frame has 85mm centres and locates the flight controller in dead centre position between the motors.I have designed it in a way that the fpv camera locates securely so there will be no movement and it will take a 750mah battery that is raised up above the FC on posts and fixing points to use a loom band to secure the battery. I need to do some modification to the frame drawing but I will put the file for upload so people can print it out themselves if they want.

What do people think good/bad?

Looks good. What FPV setup are you using?

nub

looks good to me but know what you do need to print, one of these or something similar http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:645287
Point and click.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

Sorry to say it, but those arms will snap in the first crash!

Nice idea though.

Looks really nice but the arms may be a little fragile.

You may be able to leave a channel to run a thin CF rod through to beef it up a bit.
Not much kit, but what I have I like
Armattan Tilt 2, Morphite 180, Quark 150, Decapitated NanoQX

The aerial sits lower than the props so it';s ok if landed upside down on something flat.ha

You guys must be psychic because one of them has just done that I made the stupid mistake of letting a a friend at work fly it bare in mind he';s never flown one he flew it round erratically then went up 20ft in the air and then slammed it straight into the ground.

I didn';t even get a sorry.

i';ve got another frame printing at the mo and I may try cast some out of polyurethane to give it abit of flex and strength.
