Hey all,
Back down the shed for another tinker and this time it';s a twincopter based around the mini one in the video that Gary posted.
With the motor axle over the gyros on the KK2 board it will be good to see how it handles, if at all.
The motor pivots are based on the one I have on my tricopter as it works so well. Chassis is a 8mm peice of delrin, not drilled to reduce wieght yet but at this point as I haven';t figured out where everything is going.
Here';s some pictures
Spec will be:
KK2 flight controller.
2830 1000Kv motors.
SK30A ESCs.
1045 props.
9g Hextronic servos, lets see how they hold up.

If someone throw's a stone at you throw a flower at them just remember to throw the pot with it.

Twin copter update:

380 axle to axle.
I';m having a bit of a problem with it at the moment though, Servo';s don';t respond in twincopter mode and one motor powers up more than the other.
ACC calibrated and receiver tests all ok with zeros and reverses done.
Hmmmmm....

Digital servos sorted one problem, now I can';t seem to get the KK settings right.

Very interesting build.  Certainly different. ~~
Let's be careful out there.
SAFETY is.. NO accident.

Sorry to dig this up after so long, but has there been any progress? I';m really interested in the simplicity of the design and fancy trying something similar at some point.
