FrSky Taranis advice

Hi,
I';m just about to click the button and buy a Taranis Plus however from what I';ve read with the new EU firmware it makes the DR series of RX';s redundant unless you roll back the firmware on the TX.

So the XR series are the only option if sticking to EU firmware, but they don';t seem to support CPPM and I use it on all my models, and NAZE32 boards aren';t compatible with SBUS as it';s inverted.

So I';m stuck with what to do. I don';t want to be adding inverters I just want a simple and clean system. Seems they';ve really shot themselves in the foot with not updating the DR series firmware.

Just roll the transmitter firmware back, apparently the x4 will be gaining a firmware update for ccpm at some point.

But I know the solution I would go for

rolling back the firmware is so easy to do. it will take about 10 mins if you follow this video, the plus side is that you do not need any special cables either

That';ll be the latest non-EU version.

It';s on order from T9 just waiting for stock, been told it should be with me end of next week.
Not a fan of the tray transmitters I';m a thumbs on sticks flyer.
