After last week';s argument with a rugby post playing limbo with some of my clubmates I had to have a look at rebuilding it - Fus was damaged beyond repair, I couldn';t get the thrust line correct.
I ordered a new Fus and canopy from RC Model centre, very good prices, well packed and short delivery - 2 days!
First thing was to strip the useful parts out of the Fus and evaluate whether or not they needed to be replace - fortunately not!
Next tidy the wing up - boiling water gets rid of dents quite well (be careful it doesn';t stray onto your fingers it bl@@dy hurts!).
Next part was to start installing the old reclaimed bits in the new Fus - medium cyano worked nicely.
At the moment i';m waiting for an aluminium motor mount - the original plastic ones can self destruct if you use a tuned power set usually results in ripping the whole of the front of the plane off!!!
Anyway piccies of work so far:

Got to love the funcub

Mine came with both plastic & aluminium  There is a company on ebay selling CF mounts  ;)

I know about the CF motor mount  but prefer aluminium,  quite a bit cheaper as well  - my Funcub has always been tail heavy so aluminium being heavier than cf makes it the best choice!

I like the mustard yellow paint job, nicely done ~~
Why use 4 motors when you can use 6?
