Well i finished wiring up and flashing my KK2 and was all ready for my first flight, all props balanced (crappy plastic ones), battery checked  . Armed the FC, kenneled her up and over she goes. It just flipped right over and snapped a prop :cry.

Does anyone know why it would have just flipped over?

Well thats me buggered now till i get more props. A good lesson learned, always have some spare props to hand ::)

Motors and props going the right way? A good test is to hand hold it whilst you run up the motors and see how it reacts to tilting it - it should try and fight back... Goes without saying that you should be very very very careful doing this! However, its what I always do after anything has been unplugged or unbolted!

You are going to get a list of possible reasons as there are so many.

Props on backwards
Motors connected to the wrong pins on the KK2
Any motor wires connected up the wrong way around so motors spin the wrong way - swap 2 of the 3 wires.
ESCs not properly calibrated

Anyone else got any?
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

Thats one thing i didn';t check, oops  :banghead:, thanks for that i will remember that for next time. Can anyone recommend a supplier for props  ::) in the uk? Also i don';t know which ones to go for, i am a total noob as you have probably gathered.

thank you again.

I put these onto my 450 size quad.

Cheap as chips.

The KK2.0 board shows you which way each motor needs to spin so make sure (props off) that the motors are going in the right direction.
