Gaza - can you make the subject line section in the forum topic list wider? It's cutting off the subject field really short.

Had another negative encounter, it's been a few years since the last one, just an uneducated ******, going on about drones being illegal yada yada yada.    :-/
Still that didn't spoil my flying time, had an absolute blast  ~~

I just upgraded my APM to an APM2.5 with Lea-6 GPS.

Problem was my 6pin to 6pin cable that came with it would not fit. Its 5 pins on the APM2.5 and 6 on the GPS.

After a phone call to BYOD thinking Martin had sent us the wrong cables, I was gently persuaded to look down the side of the APM where the GPS port is.

Low and behold, as if by magic there';s another GPS port and its got 6 pins.

It would be nice if that was in the manual, so in my defence I say   ITS NOT MY FAULT THAT I';M BLIND AND STUPID !

 ;)

The Lea-6H seems far better than the soldered-on module on the APM2.0. In fact, I find that the APM2.0 GPS module suffers from RFI from my radio :( Think I';ll be disabling it and adding an external gps on my hexa as I don';t see the same problem on the APM2.5 kit on the quad (where everything is tighter anyway).

oops Mark I never noticed either when you asked me Iook
