Good evening lovely people hope you are all well.

I';d like to share with you what happens when you think "hmm, I wonder how high this goes".   Totally got disorientated and couldn';t for the life of me seem to loose height, any hoo I lost control at a school playing field (no one was about) and it crashed onto the roof of the school quite some distance away.

Luckily a nice janitor was about and retrieved what was left.

And onto a Bi-copter I shall go lol.  Did manage a backflip before hand tho so cannot wait to get a new frame and get cracking (crashing) again.

Time for cider

Lucky old toff that no one was about.......hope you are insured
Let's be careful out there.
SAFETY is.. NO accident.

Very lucky that there where no serious implications, just a foolish looking 29 year old, asking the Janitor "please Sir, can I have my quad back"

Smeagol

Any idea what may have caused the lack of height control  :hmm:

As the guys said luck was on your side at least a bit anyway, hopefully not too much to repair.

Not really, it';s probably just a fixed pitch thing, as when I had a CP Heli I could bring it straight back down.  I had forgotten that with fixed pitch blades, you loose response when you decrease throttle.  I';m putting this crash down to pilot stupidity, thanking my lucky stars that no one was hurt and nothing was damaged.

I will get a new frame I start again.  Maybe some new motors while I';m at it, If I';m getting new motors I am as well get some decent escs, and if I';m getting my frame, motors and escs I way as well have a look at a new flight controller lol.

It';s a Crius se type board and yes it did survive, a few bent pins but no major damage.  I also stupidly left the FTDI - USB adapter on which is lost to the roof, oh well I';ll just have to wait another month for one of those to arrive
