Maplin 80% off everything. They really only had psu's but found a little pin vice for £1, thought it might come in handy. No wonder they have gone under if they were trying to charge £5 for it!! Build quality isnt great but it should work.

Anyway the jar opener.... Spotted in Dunelm while WE were looking for an onion chopper!

Thought it might be great to put round motors while changing props. It was about £1.50. Just tried it and seems perfect. It grips motors and then you can grip it with your hand and undo the prop nut. No more sliced fingers!! I do have a Realacc motor pliers but they are not great as they dont grip motor that well so you end up squeezing them soo hard your hand hurts!

Honestly it’s the easiest build ever. I used an EXUAV flytower which has a vtx included, a micro frsky receiver, runcam micro and emax  motors for 4s. Bolted it altogether and that was pretty much it!

Oh god, That would be a great prank to play on a long standing friend.

Get one of those DNA testing cotton wool buds in a test tube things and post it to them with a note saying something like "Hi, While mum was upset one day she let slip that you were probabbly my father. It was a hard job tracking you down, But I've finally found you. Please can you use and return the testing kit so I can be sure". If you could use a last name that corresponds to one of his long forgotten ex's from way back (One that he has no way of contacting) it could be epic.

If anyone does this, I'd suggest sending it as a tracked delivery though, That way you can phone him 30 minutes after he's signed for it to have a chat.

No, Just many years of having friends tell me I was, Usually after playing a practical joke one one of them...... Like, Did you know that 2 burly friends can easily pick up a colleagues original mini to put it on 4 car wheel dolly's? If the carpark's tarmac is nice and flat you can push the car a reasonable distance to hide it at the other end, Preferably behind a 4x4 or something.

Nice. Could backfire if they're married though. A good prank shouldn't result in someone being out of pocket, Especially not losing half their sh1t in court. LOL !


Oh, And to not totally derail the thread, Last week postie brought me an F3 for my "Chinywhoop". The old one worked, But suddenly wouldn't allow me to bind a new TX or access Betaflight. I spent about 5 hours total trying to work that out before just giving up and getting another, But this time it's got an OSD too. Already fitted it with a micro CMOS cam on the front and one of those tiny VTX01 video transmitters on top of the FC with a couple dabs of hot glue. That really slimmed down the height compared to having an AIO cam on top. Seems to fly a little better too. :)

New Omnibus F4Pro FC (OK so same as old one but hopefully the OSD will work on this one. New vtx, went for the 'standard' Unify Race HV with ufl as I have ufl pigtails and the supplier didnt have any suitable mmc pigtails. New Menace Raptor antenna, be interesting to see if it's any better than the Gear Best Pagoda.
A RunCam camera control board for my swift micro v2, well if I am going to fit new FC and VTX with control I might as well add camera control  ::)

Not the postman but also bought velocidrone and have had a little play! Had to all but remove the dead bands on the tx setup as it made the controls not really work close to centre stick.

Postie brought lots of stuff, new motor for volantex phoenix, a 40amp esc and more important an eashine blackwing 680........but central spar and motor mount missing from kit !
