Got my multi-module last night for the Taranis.  Only took about 8 days, over Easter weekend from China.  First order with Banggood, happy so far!
Now, to figure out working the thing.....

the special edition x9d+ has the mod already done at the factory
and the 5db antenna i got is the FrSky one so if anything does go wrong will be a warranty job as no aftermarket components used
only issue is SMA connectors have a limited mating cycle (rated for 500) so wont be taking the antenna on and off everyday

The mod comes standard but with a 2db antenna fitted. Buy the 5db antenna separate and screw it on
With the 2db antenna the x9d fits in the supplied case but the 5db antenna is too big so needs to be removed

got some RP-SMA to SMA adaptors
my FPV monitor has RP-SMA connectors and crap stick antennas so wanted to upgrade them, all the decent antennas i found use SMA and so does my TBS unify so easier to stick to one type of connector

Yeah I think these have a slightly higher discharge at 45c I also got 2 chargers thrown in

I got a handful of new soldering tips for my TS100 on saturday. Got them on offer from Banggood, and I wouldn't have mentioned them, But from ordering to the posty knocking on my door was 3 DAYS !!!!!

I've had stuff arrive in 4 days before on the cheap "Priority postage" service and thought that this must be the absolute minimum time it could take to make all the legs of the journey from China, but 3 days just doesn't seem possible. I checked and it did definitely come from China rather than some european warehouse, So I'm blown away.

It seems that Banggood only use whoever's the cheapest option that says it'll arrive within the given time frame for their postage, But some of the companies they use are....... a bit pants. When the exchange rates line up it seems that Royal Mail is the cheapest, And (When they don't loose the parcel) stuff usually get's here in just over half the time it takes for any of the others they use, But this usually means 7 days rather than 12.

Almost makes you proud to be British don't it. :)

with stuff coming from China depends on flight times as well, if your parcel misses a flight i could take a week to catch the next flight
Also if someone from the UK orders from the same seller at the same time and uses a priority delivery services and hasn't exceeded the weigh limit then the seller will put all the orders in the same shipping box

first parcel of the day has turned up
comes in a very nice little box with foam bits to keep it safe
they even supply angled SMA bits which is great, it's little things like that which shows they care about the customers, they could have easily left them out and i would have had to buy some separately for a couple quid, they even put protective dust caps on the angle pieces

I have the 18650 thing with 2 sets of batts. Previously with my Dom v3,s  i had the standard batt pack and a 2200 2cell on a long lead so i could put it in my pocket, made the gogs a bit lighter but the fan couldn't be used.

Once (while charging lots of batteries so tied to the spot) I watched the van on the map come within a few hundred metres of my house SEVERAL TIMES yet not do my delivery. It wasn't to avoid time wasting right turns into busy roads (in fact it caused them), or one ways, or part day parking restrictions, or traffic congestion, or school congestion so, WTF, how DOES their stupid routing system work??

its a small town where i work and i can't see any logic to the route he is taking, im guessing they do the early before 12pm deliveries first followed by businesses as they will close by 5pm and then do residential and pickups after while the van is empty

he's on 72/80 and is now on the industrial estate where i work, should be here in half hour
