Remember when they start sticking needles in you only give your  name, rank , and serial number. Best of luck mate ~~

After a lot of orders which were OK, I recently had trouble with BG. I';d ordered a battery, then a week later ordered another.

Right at the end of the second one';s expected time slot it arrived, but the first one, by now overdue, was still AWOL.  After several "please wait a few more days", I challenged their process since I';d paid for Insurance and the tracking was definitely iffy with an extra 10 days delayed by China Post before it was allegedly forwarded (I think they lost it in China!).

It never did arrive, unlike one way back that finally got to me two months overdue with the label blackened and part unreadable looking like it had been skidding on a running belt for some considerable time.

The pleasures of international ordering...............................

At that they refunded me.

Recently I have had packages arrive from them by:-

Royal Mail from Sweden Post
Royal Mail from Thailand
MyHermes from Manchester (Yes, really, a Banggood order!)

LiPo always seem to take beyond their expected service times

Have to say they are usually fairly good, the wing wing arrived in the time slot and yes i am getting the email replies....please wait a few more days, just checked the err "tracking" and looks like the micro munter has left Belgium for "country of destination", so should be here next week, i will have fun with the "rate the service" on BG site
Volantex Ranger 1600/2000, Ranger 1200 G2, Phoenix S 1600 AR900 Miniskyhunter, ZOHD Dart 635 and a few 680 batwings plus old faithful C1 chaser and a lot of eagletree guardians

Ive always found BG pretty reliable myself, only suffered the minor hiccupwith the DVR a while back but otherwise theyve been dependable even in terms of delivery times.

Gearbest though....... now their a full on joke with every order Ive made.

my last one was  a corset dress and coat for the missus  for her weekend away at whitby';s goth weekend (its the first time she';s ever gone and her mates invited her for a girlie weekend so I went all out to get her all goth';d up for it)

the coat.....

Hong Kong... Singapore... Naples... Frankfurt... Leipzig... Middlesborough... East Midlands... Liverpool... Here

It had a feckin crackin two week Asia/European holiday

The dress was out of stock but they didnt even bother telling me until a day ago which means even if they alter the order it';d never get here in time so Ive had to pay out silly money on some £175 one use corset job from a specialist shop in the UK :-/

On the upside..... thats ATLEAST three quads worth of excuses for me buying parts ~~

Shame you did not get air miles points for its travels, that is a stupid journey!
This delayed delivery from BG has pi$$ed me of, think its time to chuck in fixed wing, just seems it all goes wrong at every turn.........i have had various planes for about a year now and so far just one flight, cant do right for doing wrong, got 2 different wings about ready to maiden but dont care if i trash them now

At the risk of boring everybody  but I';ve said it before fit a Guardian stabiliser , if your t/x has a slider/roller you can set it for mid position and apply more or less stabilisation. When you release the sticks the a/c will level out and it gives you time to get the brain back on track. ~~

agreed, a bit of switched optional stabilisation on fixed wing can mean the difference between returning to land safely and the ever amusing ground nail approach, especially on the larger delta wings when once you put them out a distance from you it can be near impossible to figure orientation LOS, same goes for FPV';ing at low altitude when your more or less pitch up and can see nothing but sky and lose situational awareness for even a moment.

A CC3d revo board that has no bootloader or firmware on it and refuses to connect to the pc so is now the smallest doordstop I own,

a roll of Lace my missus will use to adorn her new clothes for next weekend (she didnt seem keen on the "why dont I make you a lace bikini out of whatever is left?)

A roll of EL wire that now adorns the edges of my computer corner workstation and pc case and lights up like a scene from Tron when I fire up my pc.... what... it aint that geeky

So your good old reliable CC3D has not been the easy fall back you hoped  ;D

Great to see your first vids on your new quad. Looks great, must be so satisfying knowing all the effort has paid off and it flies. Well done, keep up the posts.

Folded carefully the "sorry you were out,and I can';t wait for you to get to the doorcard"
Can be made into a quite serviceable paper dart, this can be flown until  you take a morning off work to queue in a grotty little office full of the great unwashed where you on production of your passport, great granny, driving licence, will be given the mangled remains of you goods. :nananana:

Lat time I got one of those I was off work for a week (To use up some of the holiday entitlement work try to avoid letting me have). So I went to the post office next day. I think it was pension day or something because there was a mile long cue of shuffling old zombies and the aroma of p1ss in the air. :(
I need a pay rise........ Though I'd settle for a reduction in the amount of hours I need to work to get the same money.

Got my firmware cable for my Flysky, to do the 10 switch mod.
Waiting on a few parcels now though, Lizard, spares + props from Banggood.

I';ve noticed they seem to have changed their tracking recently.
Before every order would give me a RM tracking number & without fail 20+ times, the day after it arrived in the UK it would be delivered.

Now, all my orders vary from DPD - none of the tracking numbers have ever worked. , and untracked which arrive quicker in the UK then sit there for 10 days.

Bad Raven

I'm expecting lots of smallish stuff, different orders, different days, so individual packages, some now getting overdue, but my best mate the postman has walked straight past my house for four days "on the trot" now.   :waiting:

And guess what, I likely will be out today at his timing....................

I'm rather expecting trouble with one thing likely to come soon by Parcelforce as well. I originally bought from UK warehouse Hobbyking but the item was no good. They are replacing F.O.C. but have sent from China. It's the sort of size that attracts customs attention, which is why I bought from UK and so have already paid duty within cost.   Will they try to charge me duty/handling on replacement?    :sweating: :crossfingers:
