aye the board I ordered is identical to the pro-dvr (I think Ive fried mine) so I ordered one and set about making a mount for it to fit into my latest frame to function as a onboard fpv dvr (yay no signal noise viewing action)... but then this erm....thingie.... turned up instead

wouldnt be such a chore if all I had to do was identify what was video in and what was out.....but then..... which wires are power?.... and is it actually 5v??.... or is it 3.2v???..... and what am I gonna tell them when they eventually ask me to send the incorrect item back????...... The only boards I';ve seen with that wheel type rocker switch is the little DIY VRX cards.
I';m in my van stuck in traffic at the minute so I can';t really have a proper look on the site to confirm, but it might be worth Googling it to see if that';s what they sent.

yer saw them while searching but that was about the only similarity anything had, if it had arrived without the jst wired plugs also id have guessed it was actually a spare part item generally not sold for any other reason but with the jst';s too it would suggest its a diy part but im fecked if i can find anything about it.

Banggood use various posters in various countries, the labelling might show it comes from the Seychelles, Thailand, even Sweden in the case of LiPos, this means nothing.

essentially I ordered a uncased dvr (which by all purposes is a Eachine ProDVR without its case) as I was planning on chucking the case to save size/weight and fitting the board into my newest frame design.

Banggood could be so good if it wasn';t so ******! They have so much stuff you can';t find anywhere else, but the clones, lack of support and questionable quality really puts me off. That said I pretty much always get spares and frsky stuff from them. In fact I just received some new tiny whoop motors!

If I remember correctly it was a miniDVR that had no documentation? If so just order the eachines miniDVR and remove the case. There is a FW that gives full screen on pal and doesn';t chop bits off. If you need the FW let me know.

have one....or "had", Id done all the FW and had it working just fine in my groundstation setup but at some point I messed about with it an reconnected it wrong somewhere which fried the dvr, the board was meant to replace it.

have had a go at wiring this weird board they sent me and got it to passthrough a video feed (didnt try audio) but the board doesnt live-up or offer any functionality atall, its a bit of a strange one as these dvr usually have a video in & out, a audio in & out and a 5v & gnd for board power, this one has the first lot but no power connections, nor any sign on the board were any should be fitted.....makes no sense to me?

The only real complaint I get is that I don';t crash enough, so the place is well overloaded. It';s the Planes and Heli';s though which of course are the real space takers.

New toy today. I';ve been predominantly using my gas soldering iron for a while now because it';s more convenient than waiting 5 minutes for my old mains one to heat up. Trouble is, The gas one does tend to spread the heat about through it';s "Exhaust ports".

So When I saw BangGood selling off TS100 irons for 40 notes + change I decided to treat myself. I already had several suitable spare PSU';s so it was just the iron I needed....... Oh, And a few spare tips. :)

Out of the box the temperature reading was all over the place, So after trying a few other tips to no avail I flashing the firmware (Yeah, It';s a soldering iron that';s sofware can be updated. Strange new world and all that. LOL !). That did it. It';s now working as expected. It';s a pretty interesting tool to be honest. It';s adjustable from 100 to 400';C and self adjusts to keep it where you set it (Read that there';s a tweaked firmware out there somewhere that takes it up to 450';C and adds more features), It';s got a motion sensor in it so it can tell if you';ve not used it for a couple of minutes and drop to a pre defined standby temperature, Or shut down completely, It also heats up pretty damn quickly. It just needs a 12 to 24v DC input to work, So I could even run it off a Li-Po for out and about if I make up a cable.

As long as the tips last a reasonable while I think I could be happy with this one. I';ll post my findings after I give it
a couple of builds worth of stick. :)

Also got some wire braiding tube and a few of those carbon fibre battery skid plate thingies because when I rebuild my Outlaw 180 I';m thinking I should give underslung battery packs a go, And the thought of belly flopping onto an unprotected Li-Po just feels wrong to me.
