This will be sweeet ! where did you get the frame? really wanna build a 5" sub 200mm quad  :evil

Cheredanine

I got it from quadquestions.com, they manufacture it, but there are some other resellers

nate80

Not exactly a spare part and something a bit different, but just been delivered this.

It';s my first go at Airplanes.  Should be a bit of fun!

zeronest

Got these today. 1000mah 4s 25-50c

I guess its only an extra 150mah but was suprised they only weigh 5g more than the 850mah 4s I was using.. They';re not as bulky as the 850s either.

Mini tri is here from Rc-explorer finally! I forgot they celebrate Ascension day over there in that Europe so was delayed by a couple of days - pics later :)

Also - Aluminium arm frame set and some spare CF ones for my acro quad - now thinking about doing a super lightweight build with the CF frame and transferring the 2204 motors to the aluminium armed frame - should help with crash impact.

Put elsewhere here due history of interest, but I have just received two Diatone ET 160 frames, and the base frame of 2mm (actually 1.98mm) of the first two I bought has been changed to 2.65mm (actually 2.57 to 2.78).

Looks considerably thicker than the dimensions suggest.

I bought two as I was going to do an extreme one and would have bonded the two bases together, now I';m undecided!!  Maybe I';ll strip the bigger motored 2mm one, bond one of each base size an so and make it 4.65mm.!!

Hozza

Trying 4 of these for my new build, tiny for 30amp

My mate is running these on his F1-5. Solid performance and reliable, enjoy

Very near the top of the heap (assuming they are the new f390 chip ones)

No just F330, but doubt I would notice the difference.

You can never have too many props, enough enough or not enough :)

Interested in if you notice any difference with the triumph

Lol several people here swear by them, never tried them but the t5045 tris work fine, just a little too indestructible, crashes were starting to damage he motor, switched back to hq since cheaper and easier to change a broken prop than a motor

nub

there';s hardly any surface on the blade, not sure why but they don';t look quite right to me, when you look at the TJ5045 and 5045BN, then look at the TJ4045 and 4045BN, the TJ4045 blade looks skinnier than it should be IMHO, i mean great for flight time but otherwise no good.

not sure if i';m describing it right

Cheredanine

Yeah the blade on the t5045 tri is much bigger, even than hq and genfam

Hozza

Not flown a plane in 25 years time to start me thinks.

More quadcopter porn:

So you went for it! Nice, let me know how you get on please, particularly how much current and on what props, cheers dude

For reference, my 2206-2300';s draw 21-22A with the T5045 tri v2 props and 30A on HQ6045.
