Very much a noob planning my 250 quad build. I am trying to find out if there is a way to modify pid settings on a cc3d board from an android phone via ideally otg usb cable or bluetooth?

Thanks for any help you can give.
I try :-)

I';m sure you can, just have a look at the open pilot wiki, you can connect a BT unit for sure, like naze, just need to sync the baud rate.  just use putty or Some such to set up your BT.

from what i';ve just read on the openpilot wiki there is no official android support yet. from what i understand there is some development going on but at the moment all you';d have is a very beta quite old version of the GCS on android devices.

there are other ways to change pids in the field using your radio although this is limited to setting up PID banks at home via the ground control software and switching between them using a radio switch. you can also set up PIDs on sliding scales and move them around using a knob or slider on your radio, but again this would need to be set up before you left home.

it just makes sense

Thanks very much. The problem I have is I don';t really have any outdoor space. So trying to tune PID settings is a case of driving down the road and testing then drive back to adjust and repeat.....
Setting up PID by using tx sounds a good way to start.

I will continue my research

Thanks.
I try :-)
