Hi
Can anyone tell me what the definition of a slow fly prop is? Is it under a certain kV only, or is it kV and pitch?
Thanks
Jesse

Slowfly props are quite different to normal aero props in that the shape of the blades is different and they usually have a low pitch (usually between 3.5 and 5"). This means that for a given rpm they move less air and therefor make the model move slower.
It is important to use the correct kv motor with these props otherwise they don';t work very well i.e. you don';t want too high kv. The other thing is that they tend to draw more load than normal props which means you need to be careful about your choice of esc, otherwise magic smoke will get out!

We all like a bit of magic smoke from time to time, but maybe not in this case.
Thanks for the reply
