this frame looks fantastic and would love to test it, only problem is I suck at doing stuff like that lol I have not had enough experience with parts and making them work together I just seem to pinch others ideas lol and go with them.

although let me know when they go for sale and ill more than likely buy 1.

Are you still looking for testers?  I have some spare parts and a gopro that could use a new home.

I dont have much in the way of youtube vids at the moment but would be happy to do a detailed build log and review.  Can be the first major thing I put on the tube.  Could also make a few progress videos along the way.
I fly stuff

Well that';s my Motors and ESCs arrived. I will have to start the build this weekend or possibly sooner. Shame I';m so nackered tonight

Brilliant news Chris. BTW I';m using this mix with reverse motor rotation as previously suggested. It does account for H layout and make frame more neutral on both axis.

mixer CUSTOM
cmix 1 1.000 -1.000 0.856 1.000
cmix 2 1.000 -1.000 -0.856 -1.000
cmix 3 1.000 1.000 0.856 -1.000
cmix 4 1.000 1.000 -0.856 1.000

I have one suggestion having finished building the frame (will fly early september when i can afford batteries and a receiver).

The top plates are mounted on 2 rubber isolation gromits. The mid part bends inwards under pressure where it';s unsupported underneath the flight controller. There are another couple of holes at this point that could be used for 2 more rubber gromits.

I suggest sending out 6 of the vibration isolators we that we can stick some in the middle and eliminate this potential weak spot. Easy fix to do.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

I am just about to buy some LiPos for this frame. Any suggestions on which type / size ?

I';m thinking a high C 4 cell between 2200 and 3000mAh.
